Customer Information
We collect and keep only information that is necessary for us to provide services and products requested by you and to administer your business with us. We may collect non-public personal information:
- From you when you complete an application or other form. This could include information such as name, address, social security number, assets, and income that you authorized us to collect
- From a consumer reporting agency for information such as your credit history as authorized by you
- As a result of transactions with us or others such as account balances, payment history, parties to the transaction, and credit card transactions.
Sharing Information
We share your non-public personal information with Anchor Wealth Management, an affiliated company.
We only share your non-public personal information with non-affiliated companies or individuals as permitted by law, such as third party administrators, your attorney, title insurance company to complete a transaction initiated by you, and consumer reporting agencies, or to comply with legal or regulatory requirements. In the normal course of our business, we may disclose information we collect about you to companies or individuals that contract with us to perform servicing functions such as:
- check printing
- computer related services (ATM or credit card accounting and maintenance)
When we provide personal information to a service provider, we require these providers to agree to safeguard your information, to use the information only for the intended purpose, and to abide by applicable law. This sharing of personal information is carried out on a strictly professional basis and is necessary to service your account.
Employee Access to Information
Through the normal course of servicing your account, certain Exchange State Bank employees may have access to your confidential account information. This may include operations and support personnel. Access to this information is limited to employees who have valid business reasons for needing the information to complete a transaction initiated by you. These employees are educated on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality and security of this information.
Protection of Information
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your non-public personal information. We cannot guarantee the security of regular e-mail transmission, therefore, do not send us an e-mail that contains private information (account numbers or balances).
Maintaining Accurate Information
Information about former customers who do not currently maintain an account relationship with the Exchange State Bank is handled in the same careful way as current customer information. Our goal is to maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records in accordance with industry standards. We have procedures in place to keep information current and complete, including timely correction of inaccurate information.
Disclosure of Our Privacy Policy
We recognize and respect the privacy concerns of our potential, current, and former customers. We are committed to safeguarding this information. The Exchange State Bank is providing you this copy of our privacy policy for informational purposes and will update and distribute it as required by law. We will make it available by request at anytime.
Privacy Policy Affiliate Marketing Opt Out
The Exchange State Bank is providing this notice. Federal law gives you the right to limit some but not all marketing from our affiliate, IPI Wealth Management, Inc.
You may limit our affiliate, IPI Wealth Management, Inc., from marketing its insurance, investment and securities products or services to you based on your personal information that we collect and share with them. This information includes your account history, your income, and your credit score.
Your choice to limit marketing offers from our affiliate, IPI Wealth Management, Inc., will apply for five years from when you tell us your choice. Once that period expires, you will receive a renewal notice that will allow you to continue to limit marketing offers from our affiliate, IPI Wealth Management, Inc., for at least another five years.
If you have already made a choice to limit marketing offers from our affiliate, IPI Wealth Management, Inc., you do not need to act again until you receive the renewal notice.
Joint consumers may get one notice. Either of you may limit the marketing for your joint account(s). However, both parties must sign the form if both parties do not want their individual information shared.
