Matt has spent the last 8 years with Exchange State Bank, meeting the consumer, residential, commercial and agricultural lending needs of the Bank’s customers and he also actively serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors. Matt grew up on a family farm outside of Shannon, graduating locally from Eastland High School, then Western Illinois University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He has since also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at UW-Madison. Matt is active with many organizations throughout the community. He is a member of the Lanark Lions Club, serves on the Lanark City Park Board, and is Treasurer for the Lanark Chamber of Commerce, Old Settler’s Day Committee, and Lanark Sesquicentennial Committee. He also volunteers time as needed at Eastland High School. Matt currently resides at Lake Carroll with his wife Danielle and two young daughters.
