John came to Exchange State Bank in 1978 as a Loan Officer and Assistant Cashier. He has been a Director since 1982, Chairman of the Board since 1996, and was named President in 2009. John has beeen marrried to Yvonne since 1970. He and his wife have 5 daughters that all graduated from Eastland High School. They also have 13 grandchildren. John and his wife are farm owners in Bradford, IL and Bishop Hill, IL. John is currently involoved in Lanark Lions, TIF Advisory Board for Lanark City Council, and is a Board member of Lanark Community Foundation. He spends most of his free time at his grandchildren's activities.
